In this role, you will report to the Manager and will be responsible for various aspects of our income tax processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of essential financial statements and schedules. You will oversee daily operations related to income tax compliance and regulatory requirements.Your ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review both federal and state income tax returns, including detailed support and calculations for partnership and corporate return compliance across multiple states.Calculate extensions for income tax and estimated tax payments.Assist in the preparation of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and related work papers.Prepare month-end journal entries and perform account reconciliations.Assist in projecting taxable income and forecasting.Manage compliance processes for Unclaimed Property reporting.Review tax fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.Conduct research on federal and state tax issues and prepare documentation.Collaborate with the tax department to document tax policies and procedures.Coordinate with internal departments such as Treasury, Legal, and Accounting.Work with internal teams to gather financial data and support tax audits or inquiries.Handle other related tasks or ad-hoc reports as needed.
