General Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:Perform a variety of basic vehicle services and repairs accurately, efficiently, and in line with Monro’s operational standards.Tire Services: Handle wheel removal, balancing, patching, changing, mounting, installation, as well as TPMS service and repair.Vehicle Services: Conduct lubrications, oil changes, and essential maintenance tasks, including bulb, wiper blade, and filter replacements, along with battery testing and installations.Execute Monro’s Courtesy Inspection procedure for every vehicle, identifying and documenting additional services and repairs as necessary.Assist in managing inventory, including pulling tires and parts, unloading deliveries, and stocking shelves.Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to meet Monro’s high standards.Perform services in accordance with Monro’s safety protocols, including wheel torque and oil safety procedures.Conduct test drives of vehicles following Monro's Road Test policy, adhering to local traffic and safety laws.Follow company policies, government standards, and safety regulations consistently.Stay updated with technical knowledge by completing required training modules from Monro University.Support management in guest care, work order processing, and facility maintenance.Act as a secondary key carrier, responsible for basic opening and closing duties.Communicate all available products and services to guests effectively.Perform additional duties as assigned.
