Position: Senior UI DeveloperLocation: Warren, NJ and Atlanta/Alpharetta, GAContract Duration: 2+ YearsInterview Process: Phone/SkypeJob Overview:The Senior UI Developer will collaborate closely with the lead developer and team members to analyze, design, develop, and optimize high-performance web applications. This role requires a strong proficiency in UI web presentation and the ability to create innovative and visually appealing websites and web-based applications.Key Responsibilities:Support the lead developer in all phases of the project lifecycle, including the development of new code and alterations to existing code.Offer valuable insights to the technical lead and architect regarding development solutions.Translate concepts into wireframes, graphical templates, and other visual elements for various web projects.Ensure the quality and integrity of site design throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain effective communication with the project team during all stages of development.Manage multiple project timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Technical Skills Required:Hands-on experience with XML, jQuery, CSS/CSS3, JSON, HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS + Redux, BackboneJS + Handlebars. Familiarity with AngularJS and other web technologies (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Microservices) is a plus.Proficient with Eclipse, Source Code Control Systems, Photoshop, and other relevant software tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop sophisticated design solutions for complex challenges.Experience with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration practices, including Program and Release Backlog Management (Jira), Defect Tracking (Jira), Collaboration tools (Confluence, Jive, etc.), Test Automation (JUnit, NUnit, TestNG), Continuous Integration/Deployment (Jenkins, Hudson), and Code Review (Sonar, Findbugs).Knowledge of cloud computing and applications hosted on platforms such as Amazon AWS, EC2, and S3.Understanding of build processes and tools (ANT, Maven, automated builds, continuous builds).
