About The Role
Are you a results-oriented individual who thrives in dynamic environments? At Centrapay, we're dedicated to redefining alternative payments and enhancing loyalty programs. In the role of Business Development Representative (BDR), your main focus will be on lead generation, relationship building, pipeline management, and closing sales. The BDR's primary objective is to drive revenue growth and broaden Centrapay's customer base in the rapidly expanding eCommerce sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement outbound merchant sales strategies.
- Manage incoming sales inquiries and oversee the sales pipeline until closure.
- Assess leads, understand customer needs, and offer tailored solutions that align with Centrapay's services.
- Convert leads into satisfied customers and collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Support pre-sales onboarding and post-sales customer assistance.
- Ensure accurate maintenance and updates of customer and sales records.
What We Seek
- 1 - 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Background in retail payments; eCommerce experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong grasp of the sales process and customer relationship management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with customers.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
- Self-starter, goal-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- A passion for sales and a strong customer-focused approach.
- Preferred candidates will be based in Auckland.
