ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Assembly: Operate machinery, including drilling and deburring hand tools, welders, cutters, grinders, and hydraulic CNC equipment, to fabricate parts and assemble components according to precise specifications. Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ascertain necessary materials, dimensions, and procedures for fabrication. Quality Control: Conduct inspections and measurements of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to guarantee safe and efficient operation, while adhering to safety protocols and workplace standards. Material Handling: Prepare and organize materials required for the fabrication process, including cutting and shaping metals, plastics, and composites. Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure timely production and address any issues that may arise during the fabrication process. Documentation: Keep accurate records of work orders, production schedules, and inventory usage. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication processes, machinery, or materials. Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness at the job site and perform general labor as needed. Other Duties: Execute additional prefab-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. QualificationsProficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical skills. Excellent literacy skills for documentation and communication. Experience in fabrication or construction is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
