As a Facilities Custodian at Silfab Solar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and productive working environment by maintaining cleanliness and order throughout our facilities. This position requires dedication to creating a pristine workplace and involves a work schedule of Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the building and surrounding property.
Execute routine cleaning tasks with diligence.
Handle heavy cleaning assignments as necessary.
Perform floor maintenance through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials.
Ensure restrooms are scrubbed, sanitized, and adequately stocked.
Dust and clean furniture, walls, and various equipment.
Prepare cleaning solutions and chemicals following safety instructions.
Adhere to proper safety procedures for handling and storing cleaning agents.
Clean fixtures and furniture as required.
Shampoo or steam-clean carpets and rugs.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies effectively.
Report repair needs or improvements to building systems to supervisors.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to uphold cleanliness inside and outside the facility.
