Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Factory Support Technician to play a pivotal role in managing our daily site operations and ensuring smooth facilities execution at 1X. This position involves hands-on facilities support, basic handyman and trade work, workspace setup, and the occasional lifting and moving of heavy items, all aimed at maintaining a safe and functional site that is prepared for rapid growth.

You Will

Assist in daily facilities operations to ensure the site runs efficiently.
Conduct basic handyman tasks and light trade work, including minor repairs, installations, and adjustments.
Help with workspace setup and reconfigurations for desks, chairs, storage, and meeting rooms.
Manage the receipt, staging, and movement of deliveries, equipment, and supplies.
Adhere to site safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Engage in safety walkthroughs, inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure clear egress paths, access to fire safety equipment, and general site readiness.
Maintain organized storage areas and common spaces.
Support basic preventative maintenance tasks, such as filter replacements and checks.
Proactively identify issues and escalate building or safety concerns as necessary.
Assist with vendor coordination on-site, including access support and walkthroughs.
Occasionally lift heavier items using safe lifting practices and appropriate equipment.
