Strong attention to detail and comfort with mobile applications or in-vehicle technology. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (10-15 kg) occasionally and perform basic physical tasks related to equipment setup. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently for extended hours. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in field data collection, delivery driving, or GIS-related roles. Familiarity with geospatial tools or a keen interest in mapping technology.

Join our innovative team as a Field Data Collection Driver and play a critical role in a high-precision mapping initiative for a leading digital mapping project. As a vital member of our operations, you will drive a company-supplied vehicle outfitted with an advanced 360-degree camera system to gather street-level imagery. This valuable data will enhance global geospatial technology platforms and mapping services, contributing to navigation products utilized worldwide.

No prior mapping experience is necessary — comprehensive training and technical support will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a vehicle equipped with camera systems to capture 360-degree imagery.
  • Adhere to specific driving routes assigned daily.
  • Upload collected data from onboard devices after each shift.
  • Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with the technical support team regarding any issues or updates.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while representing the program in public spaces.

Additional Information

All necessary equipment, vehicles, and training will be provided. Candidates must successfully pass a background check, comply with routine safety screenings, and complete onboarding training. Work schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on weather conditions and route completion. Willingness to drive up to 8 hours per day on public roads, possibly covering long distances is required. Access to secure parking (preferably with CCTV) for the company vehicle is preferred, and assistance may be available for qualifying candidates.
