Resiliv seeks a Field Data Collection Driver based in Preston, England. This position plays a key part in a digital mapping project, capturing street-level imagery with a 360-degree camera system mounted on a company vehicle. The images collected support geospatial technology and navigation products used around the world.
What you will do
- Drive a company vehicle equipped with advanced camera equipment to record 360-degree imagery along assigned routes.
- Follow daily schedules and complete routes as directed.
- Upload collected data from onboard devices after each shift.
- Check and maintain camera and vehicle equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Stay in regular contact with the technical support team to report any issues or receive updates.
- Represent the project professionally and courteously when interacting with the public.
Requirements
- Responsible driver who is comfortable with technology and can work independently.
- Adheres to regulations, maintains vehicle condition, and prioritizes safety at all times.
Additional details
- Resiliv provides all equipment, vehicles, and training. No previous mapping experience is required.
- Candidates must pass a background check, routine safety screenings, and onboarding training.
- This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for weather or route changes.
- The job involves driving for up to 8 hours per day on public roads, sometimes covering long distances.
- Secure parking for the company vehicle (preferably with CCTV) is a plus. Assistance may be available for eligible candidates.
