Join us as a dedicated and safety-oriented Field Data Collection Driver to aid in an innovative mapping initiative for our client's digital mapping project. You will utilize a company-provided vehicle outfitted with cutting-edge 360-degree camera technology to gather street-level imagery. This data will enhance global geospatial technology platforms and mapping services that underpin navigation products worldwide.
No prior mapping experience is necessary – comprehensive training and technical assistance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a specialized vehicle to capture 360-degree imagery.
- Adhere to daily pre-defined driving routes.
- Upload collected data from onboard devices after each shift.
- Perform regular equipment checks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with the technical support team regarding any issues or updates.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor while representing the program in public.

Additional Details
All necessary equipment, vehicles, and training will be provided. Candidates must successfully pass a background check, comply with routine safety screenings, and complete onboarding training.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on weather conditions and route completion.
You should be prepared to drive for up to 8 hours/day on public roads, occasionally covering long distances.
Secure parking access (ideally with CCTV) for the company vehicle is preferred — assistance may be provided for eligible candidates.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience (5+ years preferred).
- Good driving record with no major violations within the past 3 years.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort using mobile applications or in-vehicle technology.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (10-15 kg) occasionally and perform basic physical tasks related to equipment setup.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently for extended hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in field data collection, delivery driving, or GIS-related positions.
- Interest in geospatial tools and mapping technologies is a plus.
