Join Ampd Energy as a Field Engineer!

Ampd Energy is at the forefront of revolutionizing urban construction through innovative, sustainable solutions. We are pioneers in creating an emission-free construction environment with our state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), which are compact and connected, designed to replace traditional diesel generators that contribute to pollution and noise on job sites worldwide. By leveraging advanced technology, including AI and smart software, we simplify operations while significantly reducing environmental impact.

Our vision is to foster an emission-free future across various sectors. We strive to create robust, versatile, and user-friendly products that empower businesses and individuals alike to achieve greater efficiency and sustainability. We are looking for motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for learning to join our dynamic team.

As a Field Engineer/Technician at Ampd Energy, your primary responsibility will be to deliver technical support and maintenance for our suite of Battery Energy Storage products. These systems are essential for providing power to diverse environments such as construction sites, mining operations, and entertainment venues, utilizing significantly smaller generators or utility inputs. This position is remote-based within the Perth metropolitan area and reports to our Director of Global Service in the United States.

This hands-on role requires flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites across Australia, with occasional work outside standard hours and on weekends. On a typical day, you will diagnose and troubleshoot BESS issues remotely, guide customers through resolution steps, and collaborate with internal teams to address complex engineering challenges. You will also document technical solutions for fellow technicians, manage service tickets, and coordinate with the supply chain to maintain spare parts inventory in your region.

Strong communication skills are vital as you will frequently support customers remotely and may need to travel on-site to resolve complex issues personally. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in identifying, training, and managing local contractors to assist with service needs at remote locations.

This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement within our growing team in Australia.
