We are in search of a motivated Field Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Sales Engineer plays a vital role in identifying software needs, designing suitable solutions, and positioning against competitors throughout the sales process.

The ideal candidate will contribute directly to revenue growth by focusing on acquiring new clients, supporting strategic accounts, and ensuring seamless collaboration between sales and implementation teams. This role necessitates extensive product knowledge, strong technical expertise, and excellent communication skills, along with prior sales experience.

***Please note that this position is based in Amsterdam and requires regular travel to support the Field Sales team. A company car is included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remote & Field Sales Support: Frequent travel within the Netherlands to support Field Sales with onsite discovery and live demonstrations, with a high level of autonomy.
  • Sales Execution & Deal Ownership: Collaborate closely with Account Executives to define, design, and validate technical solutions. Analyze customer needs, identify risks, and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Revenue & Risk Enablement: Proactively identify technical risks and dependencies to protect deal value and ensure smooth transitions to implementation.
  • Strategic Account Management: Assist strategic accounts with retention and growth, providing technical input for renewals and upsell initiatives.
  • GTM Collaboration: Provide technical support within Go-To-Market teams to facilitate swift and confident sales.
  • Trade Shows & Industry Events: Offer technical support at events and act as a professional product ambassador.
  • Competitive & Market Knowledge: Develop strong insights into the competitive landscape to support our sales in positioning and differentiation.
  • Product & Technical Expertise: Build in-depth knowledge of hardware, software, integrations, and APIs.
