We are in search of a talented and driven Field Sales Engineer / Solution Consultant to become part of our innovative team at Lightspeed Commerce. In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to our revenue growth by shaping deal strategies, designing solutions, positioning competitively, and instilling customer confidence throughout the sales process. Your efforts will directly influence our win rates, deal sizes, and long-term account development. We are looking for someone who can effectively drive new business, support key accounts, and foster collaboration between our sales and implementation teams. A comprehensive understanding of our products, combined with outstanding technical skills and strong interpersonal abilities, along with prior sales experience, is essential for this role.

*** This position is based in Liverpool and will involve regular travel to support our Field team across the North and Midlands. ***

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remote & Field Sales Support: This position requires frequent travel across Northern England and the Midlands to assist Field Sales teams with onsite discoveries, customer engagements, and in-person demonstrations, all while operating independently in customer-facing roles.

  • Sales Execution & Deal Ownership: Collaborate closely with Account Executives to define, develop, and confirm technical solutions that cater to customer needs. You will evaluate customer requirements, pinpoint potential risks, and propose optimal solutions to facilitate deal progression and closure.

  • Revenue & Risk Enablement: Aid sales teams by identifying technical risks, constraints, and dependencies early in the sales cycle, helping to safeguard deal value, enhance forecasting accuracy, and ensure a smooth transition to implementation teams.

  • Strategic Account Management: Work alongside Strategic Account Managers to enhance customer retention, satisfaction, and growth, providing technical insights that strengthen renewal and expansion discussions, minimizing churn in complex scenarios.

  • GTM Team Collaboration: Serve as an active technical contributor within GTM channels, delivering timely, high-quality product and integration guidance that empowers sales teams to act swiftly and confidently.
