Role overview

The Field Service Engineer II supports ASM's hardware and technology systems at customer locations in Shanghai. This role focuses on keeping equipment operating reliably, managing installations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Main responsibilities

  • Maintain high tool uptime and handle installation and troubleshooting of hardware.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation for both internal teams and customers.
  • Assist with the rollout of global technology systems that enhance customer engagement.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and presentations, providing regular follow-up.
  • Work with teams to improve customer experience across hardware, software, and support tools.
  • Lead new product installations and oversee hardware developments.
  • Supervise project evaluations and ensure successful project completion.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.
  • Travel for business as required.
