Role overview
The Field Service Engineer II supports ASM's hardware and technology systems at customer locations in Shanghai. This role focuses on keeping equipment operating reliably, managing installations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Main responsibilities
- Maintain high tool uptime and handle installation and troubleshooting of hardware.
- Prepare and update technical documentation for both internal teams and customers.
- Assist with the rollout of global technology systems that enhance customer engagement.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and presentations, providing regular follow-up.
- Work with teams to improve customer experience across hardware, software, and support tools.
- Lead new product installations and oversee hardware developments.
- Supervise project evaluations and ensure successful project completion.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
- Travel for business as required.
