Position Overview
OWL Services is actively looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment in the field. This position is perfect for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who prioritize safety and enjoy working autonomously.
As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that essential systems such as Point of Sale (POS) equipment, alarms, and security devices function optimally across various client locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, repair, and replace electro-mechanical devices.
- Service various equipment including cash registers, coin changers, alarms, and POS systems.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Complete service requests and maintenance tasks promptly and professionally.
- Review and interpret work orders, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Utilize testing devices, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures diligently.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Travel approximately 30–40% overnight to support installations and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation using company systems and mobile devices.
Essential Qualifications
Must Have
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with safety protocols.
- Willingness to engage in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Capability to travel 30–40% overnight.
- Clean driving record.
- Proficient in using computers and smartphones.
Nice to Have
- Experience with POS systems (e.g., Verifone, NCR).
- Background in alarm systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical devices.
- Proven ability to handle service requests efficiently and professionally.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, manuals, and technical drawings.

- Willingness to assist with installations and upgrades in various regions.
