We are on the lookout for a talented and technically adept Field Service Technician to become an invaluable part of our forward-thinking team dedicated to transforming manufacturing processes. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of state-of-the-art robotic welding systems and automation equipment. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical systems, and a knack for integrating innovative technology into various manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cutting-edge multi-robotic welding systems, showcasing your expertise in robotic kinematics and dynamics.
- Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies with precision utilizing advanced robotic vision systems and sensors.
- Manage inventory of parts and finished assemblies with accuracy.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment and cells, both on-site and at customer locations.
- Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven solutions.
- Evaluate cell performance and ensure optimal part fit-up.
- Operate specialized machinery integrated within customer manufacturing operations.
- Seamlessly integrate autonomous welding cells into customer production processes, demonstrating proficiency in robotic system integration and communication protocols.
- Service and maintain pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices.
- Develop expertise in Forge processes, including operation through command prompts and code adjustments.
- Engage with customers to enhance equipment efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to promptly address and resolve issues.
- Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components as needed.
- Exhibit flexibility to adapt to evolving demands and rapid advancements in the field.
