WHAT YOU'LL DOPrepare for field deployments by identifying, sourcing, and assembling AUV (Autonomous Undersea Vehicle) test and support equipment. Conduct daily inspections and system checks of AUVs prior to and following operations. Coordinate the launch and recovery of AUVs, manage daily testing operations, and compile comprehensive reports on operations and tests. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of AUVs in the field, efficiently utilizing the maintenance management system. Assist in the development, review, and trials of Standard Operating Procedures and user documentation for various aspects of AUV operations. Support the preparation of risk assessments for testing and related operations, identifying and implementing mitigation strategies. Provide constructive feedback to design and manufacturing teams, including insights on software user interface design. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of experience working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists during integration, testing, verification, and demonstration phases.
