About the Role
We are seeking a Visiting Finance Associate to collaborate closely with our founders and finance team, establishing the financial and strategic framework necessary for Peec AI's expansion. In this pivotal role, you will aid in constructing financial models, analyzing vital SaaS metrics, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and supporting investor reporting and strategic initiatives. This position provides invaluable hands-on experience with the operations of a high-growth startup, ranging from financial planning and operational assessments to fundraising and board presentations, while allowing you to take the lead on significant finance projects from analysis to actionable insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the founders and leadership team with financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making at Peec AI.
Collaborate closely with the founders and our Head of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and daily finance operations, including month-end closure and invoice management.
Develop and maintain financial models concerning revenue, pricing, unit economics, and growth scenarios.
Examine key financial and operational metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn, runway) and translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
Contribute to monthly reporting, board materials, and investor communications.
Support external fundraising efforts, grant applications, investor due diligence, and ad-hoc strategic analyses as required.
Take charge of finance-related projects from inception to completion, addressing problems and delivering presentations.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience through 1–2 internships or positions in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or consulting.
Exceptional analytical skills and structured thinking, with a capacity to present complex data clearly.
