As a Finance Operations Associate at aion, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we attract, engage, and activate our community of developers, founders, and AI innovators on a large scale. This position is designed for those who are passionate about marketing and community engagement, sitting at the crossroads of events, developer advocacy, content creation, and growth experimentation.
You will take charge of aion’s community and events strategy, orchestrating everything from local meetups in the Bay Area to major conferences and engaging online workshops. Your initiatives will significantly enhance our visibility, foster product adoption, and drive our inbound pipeline.

What You’ll Do
Community & Growth Strategy
- Events Playbook: Formulate and implement aion’s community and events strategy in alignment with our go-to-market objectives.
- Growth Loops: Establish repeatable growth mechanisms through events, content, referrals, and community programs such as hackathons, Builder Nights, and AI dinners.
- Ambassadors: Identify, activate, and nurture influential users, early adopters, and community leaders.
Events
- End-to-End Execution: Manage all aspects of in-person and virtual events, including concept development, budgeting, speaker coordination, promotion, logistics, and follow-up.
- Bay Area Presence: Organize and deliver consistent, high-quality events across the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Community Platforms: Oversee and enhance our presence on Discord, Slack, and GitHub Discussions through AMAs, product launches, demos, and webinars.
Content & Messaging
- Lightweight Content: Create event copy, community posts, newsletters, recaps, and social media threads.
- Storytelling: Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to surface community-driven insights.
- Analytics: Monitor engagement, activation rates, and community-driven pipeline metrics.
