As a Financial Analyst II within our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering clear, precise, and actionable financial insights across our organization. Your focus will include expense management, reporting, and analysis that facilitates multiple business divisions, such as Protection, Retirement, and Acquisitions. This is a hybrid position based in our Birmingham, AL office.
In this role, you will engage with complex data sets and convert financial activities into meaningful and straightforward analyses for our leadership team. The ideal candidate is a meticulous finance or accounting professional who excels in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, enjoys recurring monthly and quarterly cycles, and is committed to continuously enhancing processes and reporting.
You will collaborate closely with FP&A, Accounting, and business leaders to ensure accurate capture, allocation, and explanation of expenses, thereby supporting improved operational and strategic decision-making at Protective.
