As an FP&A Analyst, you will work closely with our R&D and Engineering teams, ensuring financial discipline and providing critical decision support throughout product development. Your role will be pivotal in translating engineering strategies into actionable financial insights, enabling leadership to effectively balance innovation with cost and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for R&D and Engineering expenditures.
- Create and maintain headcount, OpEx, and CapEx models for engineering departments and initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to align product roadmaps with financial outcomes.
- Facilitate investment trade-off analyses regarding hiring, tooling, infrastructure, and project timelines.
- Generate monthly reports and insights for R&D leadership and finance teams.
- Assist in scenario planning concerning development timelines, resource allocation, and cost structures.
Success Metrics:
- Engineering leadership receives transparent insights into expenditures, forecasts, and strategic choices.
- Financial plans are in harmony with engineering roadmaps.
