In this position, you will report to the Team Leader of Commercial Affairs and collaborate closely with colleagues from operational departments.What Will You Do?As a Calculator / Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating preliminary designs and calculations for electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, and security installations. You will translate specifications, drawings, and other project information into clear and accurate cost calculations and technical plans.Create (preliminary) calculations based on received project information and guidelines.Draft preliminary designs and technical specifications in accordance with applicable standards.Compile and maintain project folders for ongoing projects.Coordinate drawings necessary for issuing quotes.Arrange for site surveys in consultation with the operational department.Prepare draft quotes and obtain internal approvals as per guidelines.Maintain technical contact with clients.Ensure up-to-date and clear technical documentation within the department.Stay informed about relevant standards and regulations (such as NEN).Review incoming quotes for content and accuracy.
