About the job
Is this the right fit for you?
Working with firearms extends beyond mere mechanics; it embodies craftsmanship, discipline, and the assurance that others can train safely because you take your role seriously. In an environment where young reservists are taking their first steps, you quickly identify and resolve issues without delay. You may sometimes miss the clarity of a military unit and the direct contact with colleagues who share the same passion. Through Triangular Group, you can rejoin a team where your expertise is valued, and your work truly matters.
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and maintenance on COLT firearms.
Resolve malfunctions and defects during training sessions.
Document maintenance activities following established protocols.
Assist the logistics unit with the distribution and collection of firearms.
Inspect firearms for wear and defects after intensive training days.
Advise instructors on safe usage and technical specifications.
Prepare firearm sets for new training groups.
Work Environment:
You will be stationed at the National Resilience Training location in Amsterdam, a facility equipped with workshops and storage spaces that host hundreds of trainees and instructors daily. You will be part of a tight-knit logistics team of around 10 colleagues, many of whom are former military personnel from TGS. You will report to the logistics coordinator on-site and engage in daily briefings with instructors and training management. Triangular Group colleagues are usually present on the floor, and meetings with the head office in Heerle occur approximately once a month, either in person or virtually. Your schedule will primarily consist of day shifts, but during intensive training weeks, longer hours may be required to prepare firearm sets. Overnight stays are not applicable, and travel will be limited to Amsterdam and occasionally Heerle.
