About the Role
As a talented software engineer, you will create customized technical solutions and collaborate with machine learning teams to enhance Chalk’s proprietary infrastructure. Your role will involve partnering with Chalk's clients to construct efficient feature pipelines for diverse challenges in healthcare, finance, and recommendation systems. This is an exceptional chance to work directly with clients, gathering requirements and engineering feature pipelines for use cases such as cancer detection, fraud prevention, and product recommendations. What You Will Do
- Develop and implement Chalk technology for clients and prospects, becoming proficient with Chalk's infrastructure to ensure seamless integration across various environments.
- Collaborate closely with our Engineering and Sales teams.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison during pre-sales and post-sales processes, facilitating customer onboarding and ongoing support.
- Advise customers on new product offerings as their business needs evolve.
- Participate in interviewing and expanding the Engineering team.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong technical background with experience in software development or building machine learning models.
- 2+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively in teams comprised of both technical and non-technical members.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication, problem-solving, storytelling, and analytical abilities.
