About the Position
We are looking for dedicated Forward Deployed Software Engineers to join our dynamic team in the Washington, D. C. area. In this role, you will tackle a range of challenges encompassing full-stack development, networking, systems integration, and user-focused problem-solving, all while maintaining an emphasis on speed, scalability, and sound engineering practices. You will collaborate closely with Product Engineering and Design teams, working hand-in-hand with our Mission Success team to deliver comprehensive solutions that empower military logisticians. Our engineers take pride in ownership and accountability, approaching each project with a practical, results-driven mindset. You will operate in small teams with minimal oversight, taking charge of high-stakes projects for our military clients. The ideal candidate will consistently produce reliable, timely, and high-quality outcomes while keeping our mission at the forefront of their decision-making process.
Your Responsibilities
Engage directly with end-users and stakeholders to identify their most pressing challenges and design software solutions that effectively meet those needs.
Take complete ownership of features from conception to deployment, including prototyping, system integration, and ensuring optimal performance in demanding operational environments.
Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and operations teams to develop scalable systems, prioritize tasks, and drive complex projects to successful completion.
Continuously monitor and enhance system reliability and performance by instrumenting code, analyzing metrics, diagnosing issues, and iterating on features.
