The Role
As a Forward Deployed Sustainability Engineer (FDSE) at Watershed, you will occupy a unique position that blends technical expertise with customer partnership and product innovation. You will operate at the nexus of our product engineering teams and our clients, engaging in hands-on, creative problem-solving to ensure Watershed's cutting-edge AI products yield tangible benefits for sustainability teams in real-world applications.
This role is intentionally experimental; we are assembling a compact incubation team that works closely with our product and engineering departments as well as our customers on our latest AI initiatives. You will have the opportunity to co-develop AI capabilities, create prototypes, design workflows, and provide rapid, high-quality feedback to guide the evolution of our products.
Your focus will be on one of Watershed's flagship AI solutions that addresses the core measure, report, and act cycle. Collaborating with our largest, most strategic clients, you will facilitate significant Scope 3 decarbonization by leveraging Product Footprints.
