Currently, our CEO manages the entire sales process from initial outreach to contract finalization, and it has proven effective. Your passion for driving top-of-funnel activity is essential.You will not be receiving an existing playbook, lead list, or inbound leads. Instead, you will build everything from the ground up. Collaborating closely with the CEO, you will determine effective messaging, identify target personas, and develop a sales pipeline from scratch. Every sequence you create, every call you make, and every meeting you secure will contribute to shaping TierZero's sales strategy for years to come.Your ResponsibilitiesConstruct a Pipeline from ZeroProactively cold call and email, creatively prospecting engineering organizations within Series C+ companies. We seek individuals who embody the spirit of 'give me a list, and I’ll make it happen.'Conduct in-depth research on target accounts, develop organizational maps, and identify key entry points—be it the Engineering Manager facing on-call challenges, the VP of Engineering evaluating AI tools, or the inquisitive Staff Engineer.Create multi-step outbound sequences, experiment with varied messaging angles and calls-to-action, and quickly iterate based on what resonates.Utilize customer-centric language ('murder mystery finding the right person') over marketing jargon ('knowledge management solution')—the best outreach resembles a peer-to-peer conversation between engineers.Collaborate with Founding Team to Build Outbound StrategyEstablish and refine Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), target personas, and buying triggers through data-backed experimentation.Create qualification frameworks to differentiate between valuable meetings and polite declines.Set up dashboards, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop a predictable pipeline generation process.Document successful strategies to ensure they are repeatable—first by you, and eventually by the team you help recruit.
