Your Role and Impact

As the founding operations manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the operational framework of Conversion. This multifaceted role involves spearheading our recruiting efforts, managing financial operations, and overseeing legal and administrative tasks. You will collaborate closely with the founding team and engage with nearly every aspect of our growing business.

This position requires your presence in our San Francisco office five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our full-cycle recruiting processes, from agency management to developing an in-house sourcing pipeline.

  • Facilitate coordination between hiring managers, candidates, and external partners to ensure a smooth recruiting experience.

  • Oversee company finances by monitoring runway, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost-efficiency strategies.

  • Manage legal and administrative operations, including vendor contracts, office agreements, procurement documents, and new hire paperwork.

  • Engage in special projects across marketing and sales that are critical to our scaling efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in consulting, recruiting, or operations.

  • Preferred: Experience in a high-growth startup environment.

  • Passionate about building processes from the ground up rather than inheriting existing ones.

  • Proficient in structured thinking, capable of breaking down ambiguous challenges and driving solutions independently.

  • Exceptional communication skills across diverse stakeholders, earning trust swiftly.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, especially regarding financial data.
