About the Role
We are seeking a Founding Product Designer with extensive experience in information architecture and the design of complex, multi-step workflows. In this role, you will architect, design, and refine the essential user flows that underpin Delve’s AI-driven compliance platform, which consists of numerous interconnected modules and intricate workflows essential for high-stakes decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with the founders, engineering, and product teams to transform ambiguous challenges into clear, intuitive, and scalable systems. This position is ideal for someone who excels at managing complexity, possesses a keen instinct for simplification (without oversimplifying), and thrives in environments where design decisions have immediate real-world consequences.
You will have full ownership of the design process at Delve, influencing the navigation, hierarchy, and coherence across workflows within the entire product.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end information architecture for a platform featuring 10+ modules and deeply interconnected workflows.
- Design systems to facilitate workflow resumption, progress tracking, and extensive user journeys extending over weeks or months.
- Create navigational structures that accommodate both task completion and exploratory workflows.
- Develop multi-step, procedural workflows in critical domains such as compliance, security, audits, and policy reviews.
- Identify and clarify cross-workflow dependencies, ensuring users always understand their next steps.
- Partner with engineering to ensure designs accommodate the scaling needs from early-stage customers to mid-market teams with complex requirements.
- Establish foundational information architecture that renders Delve accessible, predictable, and enjoyable to use.
