About the Role
We are actively seeking an innovative FPGA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Reston, Virginia. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in the rapid development, testing, and implementation of advanced FPGA designs utilizing Xilinx SoC/FPGA technology. This position requires extensive expertise in digital circuit design, as well as proficiency in VHDL/Verilog coding and simulation.
Your Responsibilities
- Integrate third-party vendor IP as needed.
- Engage in the complete design lifecycle: from gathering requirements and conceptualization to hands-on testing and board bring-up.
- Implement a diverse range of signal types including high-speed communications (Ethernet, serial) and signal processing (analog, digital).
- Ensure that designs comply with all relevant safety and performance standards, maintaining traceability to top-level system requirements.
- Investigate and resolve issues identified during hands-on testing at both the HDL and system levels.
