About the job
Kindly submit your CV in English and specify your proficiency level in the English language.
At Mindrift, we bridge the gap between talented specialists and project-based AI opportunities with top-tier tech companies, concentrating on the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. Note that participation is strictly project-based and does not entail permanent employment.
Opportunity Overview
While each project is unique, contributors might engage in activities such as:
- Designing original computational data science challenges that reflect real-world analytical workflows across various sectors including telecom, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
- Creating complex problems requiring Python programming for resolution, utilizing libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Sklearn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Ensuring that challenges are computationally intensive, necessitating automated solutions that cannot be resolved manually within practical timeframes (days/weeks).
- Developing tasks that involve intricate reasoning chains in data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
- Crafting deterministic challenges with reproducible answers, avoiding stochastic elements or requiring fixed random seeds for accurate reproducibility.
- Base problems on real business challenges involving customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Designing comprehensive problems that encompass the full data science pipeline (data ingestion → cleaning → exploratory data analysis → modeling → validation → deployment considerations).
- Integrating big data processing scenarios that call for scalable computational techniques.
- Validating solutions with Python using standard data science libraries and statistical methods.
- Documenting problem statements in a clear manner, embedding realistic business contexts, and providing verified correct solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This opportunity is best suited for Data Science experts with Python experience who are open to engaging in part-time, project-based work. The ideal contributors will possess:
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with a demonstrable impact on business.
- A portfolio of completed projects and publications that display real-world problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming for data science (including libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels).
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning, with a comprehensive understanding of algorithms, methods, and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with Generative AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases).
- Insight into MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain).
- Excellent written English skills (C1+).
