About the Role
Each project presents unique challenges, and contributors may be tasked with:
- Creating original computational statistics problems that emulate authentic mathematical research workflows;
- Formulating Python programming challenges requiring solutions through libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and SymPy;
- Ensuring tasks are computationally demanding and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes;
- Developing problems necessitating complex reasoning in fields such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis;
- Grounding problems in genuine research challenges or practical mathematical applications;
- Validating solutions using Python and standard mathematical libraries;
- Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified correct answers.
Qualifications
This opportunity is ideal for statistics experts with Python experience looking for part-time, flexible projects. Preferred candidates will possess:
- A degree in Statistics or a related field;
- Proficiency in Python for numerical analysis. Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other domain-specific libraries is also acceptable;
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching roles;
- Excellent written English skills (C1 level or higher);
- Professional certifications (such as CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Time Commitment
Expect to dedicate approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
Earn up to $34 per hour based on your expertise and contribution pace. Compensation varies based on the project's scope, complexity, and required skills. Please note that other projects may offer different pay rates.
