About the job
We invite you to submit your CV in English, including your English proficiency level.
Mindrift specializes in connecting talented professionals with project-based AI opportunities from leading technology firms, focusing on the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. This role is project-based and does not entail permanent employment.
Position Overview
Each project will present unique challenges, and contributors may:
- Develop original computational statistics problems that reflect authentic mathematical research workflows;
- Craft problems necessitating Python programming to solve (utilizing libraries like Numpy, SciPy, Sympy);
- Ensure that problems are computationally intensive, requiring significant timeframes (days/weeks) to solve manually;
- Create problems that involve complex reasoning chains in fields such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis;
- Base problems on genuine research challenges or practical applications from the mathematical domain;
- Validate solutions using Python with established mathematical libraries;
- Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct answers.
Qualifications
This opportunity is well-suited for statistics experts with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Statistics or a related field;
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; expertise in MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is also acceptable;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience;
- Strong written English skills (C1+ level);
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.
Process Overview
To participate, follow these steps: Apply → Pass qualifications → Join a project → Complete tasks → Receive payment.
Project Commitment
For this project, contributors should expect to commit approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project needs. Note that this is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload while the project is ongoing.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $73 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace. Compensation may vary across projects based on their scope, complexity, and required skill set. It is important to note that other projects on this platform may offer differing earning levels.
