Role overview This freelance AI Trainer role centers on designing and validating computational physics problems that require Python programming. Each project brings a unique set of tasks, often inspired by real research workflows or practical physics applications. Contributors may: Design computational physics problems that reflect authentic research scenarios Create challenges solvable only through Python code, often using libraries like Numpy, SciPy, or Sympy Ensure problems are computationally intensive and not easily solved by hand Develop questions requiring advanced reasoning in areas such as mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, or quantum mechanics Validate solutions in Python, sometimes using established physics simulation libraries Document problem statements clearly and provide confirmed correct answers Requirements Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a related discipline Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar tools is a plus At least 2 years in applied research or teaching roles Background in numerical simulation methods Ability to design problems that mirror real-world physics research Creative problem-solving across multiple physics domains Strong understanding of physics modeling and approximation techniques Excellent written English skills at C1 level or above How projects work Apply Pass qualifications Join a project Complete tasks Receive payment Time commitment During active project phases, expect about 10–20 hours per week, depending on project needs. Workload may fluctuate and is not guaranteed outside these periods. Compensation Earn up to $76 per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
