About the job
We invite you to submit your CV in English and please specify your level of English proficiency.
At Mindrift, we specialize in connecting talented professionals with exciting, project-based AI opportunities at leading technology firms. Our focus is on assessing and enhancing AI systems through innovative engagements. Note: Participation is strictly project-based and does not constitute permanent employment.
What You Will Be Doing:
Each project presents distinct challenges, and contributors are expected to:
- Craft original computational data science problems that accurately mimic real-world analytical scenarios across diverse sectors (telecommunications, finance, government, e-commerce, healthcare).
- Develop problems that necessitate Python programming for resolution, utilizing libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Sklearn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Ensure that the tasks are computationally demanding and cannot be solved manually within a reasonable timeframe (days or weeks).
- Formulate complex problems that require intricate reasoning in data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and extracting actionable insights.
- Create deterministic scenarios yielding reproducible outcomes, avoiding stochastic elements or specifying fixed random seeds for exact replication.
- Base your problems on genuine business challenges, including customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Design comprehensive problems that encompass the entire data science pipeline: from data ingestion, cleaning, exploratory data analysis (EDA), modeling, to validation and deployment considerations.
- Integrate big data processing elements that necessitate scalable computational methods.
- Validate solutions using Python with recognized data science libraries and statistical methodologies.
- Accurately document problem statements within realistic business contexts and provide verified correct solutions.
What We Seek:
This role is ideal for Data Science experts with Python experience seeking part-time, non-permanent engagements. The ideal candidates will have:
- 5+ years of practical experience in data science demonstrating measurable business impact.
- A portfolio showcasing completed projects and publications that exhibit real-world problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data science applications (including Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels).
- Deep expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning, with a solid grasp of algorithms, methodologies, and their practical applications.
- Advanced skills in SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with GenAI technologies (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases).
- Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of contemporary frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain).
- Strong command of written English (C1+ level).
How It Works:
Apply → Pass qualifications → Join a project → Complete tasks → Get compensated.
