Project Overview
Each project presents unique challenges, and contributors will have the opportunity to:
- Design original computational engineering problems that closely simulate real-world engineering workflows.
- Create programming challenges that require Python to solve complex engineering calculations and simulations.
- Ensure that the tasks are computationally rigorous, utilizing numerical methods or iterative solutions.
- Develop problems centered around system design, optimization, and thorough analysis.
- Base challenges on actual research questions or practical applications from the engineering sector.
- Validate solutions through Python, employing standard engineering libraries.
- Document problem statements with clarity and provide verified correct answers.
Qualifications We Seek
This role is ideal for engineers with experience in Python, looking for part-time, non-permanent project work. We are particularly interested in candidates who possess:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or any equivalent programming language is also acceptable.
- At least 2 years of professional experience, whether in applied, research, or teaching capacities.
- A solid understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
- Excellent written English skills (C1+ level).
- Preferred: Professional certifications (such as CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects.

Project Time Commitment
During active phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on specific project needs. Please note that this is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $36 per hour, based on experience and contribution pace. Compensation varies across projects depending on their scope, complexity, and required expertise. Please be aware that earnings levels may differ across other projects on the platform based on their specific requirements.
