The Role:

As an interpreter, you will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and accurately reproducing content from the source language into the target language. Your role will involve:

Interpreting services for individuals accessing legal, health, and local government resources
Verifying non-English speakers' comprehension after each statement
Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
Handling highly confidential information
Facilitating communication between service users and providers

Qualifications:

Fluency in English and at least one additional language
Eligibility to work in the UK
Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications include:

Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
Community Interpreting certification
Registration with NRPSI, CIOL, or ITI is advantageous
Degree in Translation, Interpreting, or Languages
Any other relevant interpreting qualifications
