Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop original computational engineering challenges that replicate genuine engineering workflows.
  • Formulate problems necessitating Python programming to execute engineering calculations and simulations.
  • Ensure tasks are computationally demanding, employing numerical methods or iterative solutions.
  • Design problems that involve system design, optimization, and analysis.
  • Base challenges on authentic research questions or practical engineering applications.
  • Validate solutions utilizing Python and standard engineering libraries.
  • Clearly document problem statements and provide verified solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

This opportunity is ideal for engineers proficient in Python, seeking part-time, non-permanent engagements. The ideal candidates will possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation, with familiarity in MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or any programming language as a substitute.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • An understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects are advantageous.
