Key Responsibilities:
- Develop original computational engineering challenges that replicate genuine engineering workflows.
- Formulate problems necessitating Python programming to execute engineering calculations and simulations.
- Ensure tasks are computationally demanding, employing numerical methods or iterative solutions.
- Design problems that involve system design, optimization, and analysis.
- Base challenges on authentic research questions or practical engineering applications.
- Validate solutions utilizing Python and standard engineering libraries.
- Clearly document problem statements and provide verified solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
This opportunity is ideal for engineers proficient in Python, seeking part-time, non-permanent engagements. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation, with familiarity in MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or any programming language as a substitute.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching roles.
- An understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
- Strong written English skills (C1+).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects are advantageous.
