Role Overview:
Each project presents distinct challenges, and contributors may be involved in tasks such as:
- Creating precise physics problems that reflect real-world applications;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, foundational assumptions, and limitations;
- Verifying computations or simulations utilizing Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Enhancing AI reasoning to conform to industry-standard logical frameworks;
- Utilizing structured evaluation criteria for complex, multi-step problems.
Candidate Profile:
This role is ideal for physicists with Python experience who are open to part-time, temporary projects. Preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Physics or a related discipline, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Optics, or Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience;
- Advanced written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional credentials (e.g., CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience in international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Time Commitment:
For this role, active project tasks are anticipated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload during active phases.
Compensation:
- Paid contributions, with rates up to $55/hour*
- Fixed project rates or individual compensation may apply based on the project;
- Some projects may offer additional incentive payments.
*Note: Compensation varies according to expertise, skills assessment, location, project requirements, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for highly specialized experts. Initial onboarding or non-core project phases may have lower rates. Payment specifics will be detailed per project.
