Role overview
This freelance position calls for a Quantum Research Scientist & AI Trainer with strong Python skills. Projects involve tackling real-world research problems in physics, blending computational and theoretical challenges. Each assignment introduces new scenarios that require both deep physics knowledge and advanced programming abilities.
What you will do
- Create original computational physics problems that reflect authentic research workflows
- Design problems requiring Python solutions, making use of libraries like Numpy, SciPy, and Sympy
- Ensure problems are computationally demanding, so manual solutions are impractical
- Develop scenarios involving advanced reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics
- Base questions on real research challenges or practical applications in physics
- Validate solutions using Python and established physics simulation libraries
- Document problem statements clearly and provide verified solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a closely related field
- Expertise in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar tools is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional, research, or teaching settings
- Hands-on experience with numerical simulation techniques
- Ability to design problems that reflect genuine research processes in physics
- Creative problem-solving skills across multiple physics domains
- Strong understanding of physics modeling and approximation strategies
- Written English proficiency at C1 level or above
