This freelance, project-based role with Mindrift centers on supply chain consulting and AI training. The position is remote and open to candidates based in Sweden. Please note: this is not a permanent employment arrangement.
Role overview
Mindrift brings together experienced professionals and leading technology firms for AI-driven projects. As a Freelance Supply Chain Consultant & AI Trainer, the focus will be on using practical expertise to create realistic disruption scenarios, define outcomes and mitigation strategies, and review AI-generated recommendations for accuracy and business relevance.
What you will do
- Design credible supply chain disruption scenarios based on real procurement and manufacturing challenges, such as supplier delays, quantity changes, logistics problems, or quality issues.
- Outline expected outcomes and effective mitigation plans for each scenario.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses and recommendations, ensuring they align with established business logic.
- Review outputs for accuracy and relevance within ERP systems, with emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Coupa, Jaggaer, and Ariba (SAP).
- Support structured data creation and validation tasks according to provided guidelines and frameworks.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement workflows, including purchase orders, vendor management, inventory, and production planning.
- Direct experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Ability to design and analyze supply chain disruption scenarios and develop mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of disruption types: delays, shortages, quality concerns, and logistics challenges.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, transportation, and logistics management.
- Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and production planning processes.
- Experience with supplier performance metrics, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF), lead times, and quality scores.
- Analytical skills to evaluate AI outputs against practical business logic.
- Background in data validation, structured data entry, or annotation work.
- Strong written communication skills in English.

Project time commitment
During active project phases, tasks usually require between 10 and 20 hours per week. Actual workload may vary and is only applicable while a project is ongoing.
Compensation
Contributors may earn up to $60 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
