Role Overview
As a Procurement & Supply Chain Consultant, you will leverage your extensive expertise to create authentic disruption scenarios, outline anticipated outcomes and mitigation strategies, and assess AI-generated recommendations for accuracy and business relevance.
Key Responsibilities
Projects may involve unique tasks such as:
- Crafting realistic supply chain disruption scenarios (e.g., supplier delays, quantity adjustments, logistical complications, quality failures) based on actual manufacturing and procurement practices.
- Establishing expected results and effective mitigation strategies for each scenario.
- Reviewing AI-generated suggestions against practical business logic.
- Evaluating outputs for precision, thoroughness, and relevance within ERP systems (particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, Coupa, Jaggaer, Ariba (SAP)).
- Assisting in structured data creation and validation tasks according to specific guidelines and frameworks.
Qualifications Required
- At least 4 years of practical experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- In-depth understanding of procurement workflows, including purchase orders, vendor management, inventory, and production planning.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Proven ability to develop and analyze supply chain disruption scenarios and corresponding mitigation strategies.
- Strong comprehension of various types of disruptions: delays, shortages, quality concerns, and logistical challenges.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and transportation/logistics management.
- Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and production planning methodologies.
- Experience in evaluating supplier performance metrics (OTIF, lead times, quality scores).
- Analytical mindset capable of assessing AI outputs in relation to real-world business logic.
- Experience with data validation, structured data entry, or annotation tasks.
- Exceptional written communication skills in English.

Project Time Expectations
Tasks for this project are anticipated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project demands. This is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific workload during the project duration.
Compensation
Participants in this project can earn up to $50 per hour, contingent upon experience and the specific project requirements.
