In your role as a Freight Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for managing freight cost controls, ensuring that invoices are precise and consistent with agreed tariffs, and facilitating proper recharges to customers. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to safeguard profit margins, resolve any discrepancies, and uphold stringent financial standards in freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee assigned vendor freight accounts to ensure accuracy and oversight
Examine and process freight invoices according to established tariffs and protocols
Confirm that freight costs are recharged to customers accurately when necessary
Promptly address and resolve invoice-related queries with suppliers
Conduct regular review cycles to monitor and resolve outstanding queries
Reconcile vendor statements and ensure consistency with internal records
Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution and compliance
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of freight processes and controls
