Role Overview
The Front-End Software Engineer will join the product development team, focusing on the KinaTrax Dugout web application, a tool built for baseball analytics and data visualization. This role centers on maintaining and improving current web tools, designing new UI features, and developing biomechanics metrics tailored to client needs. The engineer will also help integrate new data sources into both existing and future web applications, ensuring our visualizations meet evolving sports requirements.
Teamwork is central here. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues to keep our tools in step with industry trends and client input. There may also be opportunities to lead projects beyond the core data visualization work.
Main Responsibilities
- Improve and extend the KinaTrax Dugout web application, with a focus on user experience and functionality shaped by client feedback.
- Add new data sources to existing tools to strengthen our product range.
- Work with cross-functional teams to push innovation in data visualization.
- Take the lead on specific projects and initiatives when needed.
