About the job
LeoLabs operates a global radar network and analytics platform to map activity in low Earth orbit. Each day, the system tracks over 25,000 objects, providing commercial and government missions with the information needed to protect assets, monitor threats, and support secure operations. The company plays a key role in advancing safety, security, and transparency as space activity grows more complex, serving both private space operators and defense organizations.
Role overview

This team of 10 engineers, within a 30-person engineering group, builds analytics tools and system integrations that influence real-time decision making for managing objects in space. The work spans user interface development, API integrations, and deployment across both cloud and on-premises environments. Projects often draw on data from LeoLabs’ data lake and other specialized sources.
This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to impact UI design. The team values collaboration and welcomes those who enjoy building intuitive, responsive web applications.
What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern web interfaces that present complex space-related data in clear, useful ways.
- Work closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate APIs and connect with customer systems.
