Role Overview
In this pivotal role as a Full-stack Software Engineer, you will primarily focus on back-end development (approximately 70% of your time) by creating robust TypeScript services that drive subscription management, billing workflows, and merchant-facing APIs for Shopify stores handling millions of transactions.
You will work collaboratively within a team, independently delivering features while collaborating with a seasoned team lead to propose solutions, implement them, and oversee their operation in production. It is crucial that these systems maintain high reliability, observability, maintainability, and performance.
Utilization of AI tools such as Claude code and Codex will enable you to accelerate feature delivery effectively.
Additionally, you will contribute to our React-based front-ends (approximately 30%) in a dynamic, multi-functional team environment.
