Weekday-1 is seeking a Fullstack Engineer with strong experience in React and Python to support one of our clients. This remote position is open to candidates based in India. The engineer will work on building and maintaining scalable web applications, focusing on both front-end and back-end development. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers is central to the role, with an emphasis on delivering solutions that drive business outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable web applications using React for the frontend and Python for the backend.
- Develop user interfaces with modern React features, including hooks, functional components, and state management libraries.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Integrate frontend and backend components for a seamless user experience.
- Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
- Take part in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve reliability and performance.
- Apply security and data protection best practices throughout the application stack.
