Position Overview
As a Fullstack Engineer at GovWorx, you will play a vital role in our software development team by engaging in the design, planning, and execution phases of our Software Development Lifecycle. Your contributions will include software design and architecture, active development work, and providing peer reviews and mentorship to fellow engineers. You will be expected to take initiative and comply with our quality, security, and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
Software Design & Architecture:
Create comprehensive architectural diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
Adhere to company architectural guidelines and industry best practices while developing software for both Software as a Service and on-premises environments.
Software Development:
Demonstrate proficiency in coding across the entire stack: front-end, back-end, and database.
Develop meaningful automated tests, including Unit Tests, integration tests, and functional automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a software developer, preferably within SaaS or technology-centric organizations.
Proficient in . NET and/or Java (Spring Boot experience is a significant advantage).
Strong understanding of application development methodologies and practices.
