Role Overview
The Trust and Risk teams at Whatnot are dedicated to developing systems that establish clear expectations, promote positive behavior, and resolve issues in a fair and efficient manner. By integrating proactive detection with transparent enforcement strategies, we ensure that Whatnot remains a secure and reliable platform for both buyers and sellers.
Our focus areas include:
Policy Enforcement and Dispute Resolution: Crafting systems that articulate clear behavioral expectations, identify and address policy violations, and efficiently resolve disputes.
Intelligent Detection and Prevention: Utilizing machine learning, behavioral analysis, and real-time interventions to anticipate evolving abuse patterns and safeguard both buyers and sellers.
Continuous Improvement: Implementing feedback loops and monitoring systems as managed assets to ensure ongoing quality assurance and enhance our systems.
